GRAND CAMERA OPERATING
GRAND EQUIPMENT RENTAL
We are young, we’re fresh, we are ready. Grand pictures emerged in the late summer of 2010. Since we have been producing documentaries, music videos, image films and commercials. We work with large and small agencies. Direct customers, we offer all steps from the creation to post production.
Yes, to make films is a gift. And I love gifts. And the greatest gift is to work in the film industry. Go on a Sunday morning by 4 clock alone in the car to the set and yes even that is a gift.
The sun rises. Almost all people are sleeping. And now I’m behind the camera and catch the first rays of sunshine. That’s one reason why I love working in the film business.
” We’ve all been raised on television to believe that one day we’d all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars, but we won’t. ”
“It’s a great thing when you realize you still have the ability to surprise yourself.”
(Back to the Future Part III)
” You’re just not thinking fourth dimensionally! ”
(The Three Musketeers)
“all for one, one for all”
“Don’t think you are, know you are. Come on! Stop trying to hit me and hit me! ”
” Du, oben ich unten. Harmonie. Friktion. Symmetrie. Paaa…raaa…lle…lität. (Pause) Entspannung. Trott. Flucht. Heimkehr. Fremdgehen. Bereuen. Nicht heiraten. Nicht Kinder. Nicht zusammenziehen. Doch zusammenziehen. Rheuma. Doch Kinder. Fehlgeburt. Australien. Kuba. Süddeutsche. Japan. Ethikrat. Fehlgeburt. Weiter. Therapie. Weiter. Kein Sex. Weiter. Älter. Weiter. Langsamer. Noch langsamer. Weiter. “
The meter points to adventure, new ways of seeingthat blur and sharpen, blend and pop out, as you decide. They dance together, aperture and shutter, in sensuous samba, syncopating in time, sensitive to light. One leads, the other falls back, and so create an image to fit the film as its speeds though space, tilting at planets, waltzing with the sun, drifting through fog banks, clouds of whitest snow. Oh yes, aperture and shutter dance sinuously in your blood, sing in your innermost ear, flicker in your eye, so you see ever more clearly what is not there until you look through your lens.
